Heat Loss Calculations
What to expect:
Our Heat Loss Surveys contribute to the selection of suitable heating and hot water sources primarily:
- Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
- Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP).
Initially we conduct a site visit property, using in all in one application to accurately measure the house/commercial building. We are able to produce a detailed floor plan and report of the property. (This will take between 1 & 3 hours)
Whilst measuring the property the surveyor will take measurements, notes and photographs of the current electrics, current heating (including all radiators present), proposed locations of the ASHP and proposed new hot water cylinder location If needed.
This data is then downloaded and ran through all MCS approved software (Evergreen).
We then produce a full room by room heat loss of the property. Including between 30-100 page report, sketch and statistics of the property.
We include Heat Pump Design, sizing as well as an Emitter Log (including new sizes for radiators with wattage required and or any UFH.)
Finally a scope of works is produced, All the above information will be shared on Google Cloud for your Viewing. All of this turned around within 48-72 hours from completion of the initial site visit!
Solar Panel Surveys
What to expect:
One of our team will attend the property on the installers behalf, While on-site one of our team will collect the following data:
- Roof Dimensions (internal and or External)
- Roof angle
- Roof Tiles dimension and mould (plain, double roman, slate etc.)
-Current electrics (including photos, number of spare ways as well as the current meter and mains fuse + earthing type.)
- Proposed cable runs
-Photos of all the above will be taken, Videos showing cable runs can be also produced if required.
-Weather permitting we have the facilities to do a fly over the property with a drone. This allows us to produce a high resolution video as well as photos of the proposed roof(s).
- Final scope of works including access, roof design, scaffolding notes and any final questions from the customer will be completed.
All the above information will be shared on Google Cloud for your Viewing. All of this turned around within 48-72 hours from completion of the initial site visit!
